I came across this quote and thought perhaps we could dig into it and see if we can derive some value from it in our own lives. "We must never forget that we may also find MEANING IN LIFE even when confronted with A HOPELESS SITUATION. When facing a fate that cannot be changed. For what then matters is to bear witness the uniquely human potential at its best. Which is to transform a personal tragedy into a triumph. To turn ones predicament into a human achievement. When we are no longer able to change a situation WE ARE CHALLENGED TO CHANGE OURSELVES." Viktor Frankl Here is an exercise you can take if you so choose =D
1.) Consider the line "For what then matters is to bear witness the uniquely human potential at its best. Which is to transform a personal tragedy into a triumph. To turn ones predicament into a human achievement". If you believe that church and community are important and if you believe that your church or community is in steady decline,..., what can you do in order to reverse said decline? 2.) Consider the line "When we are no longer able to change a situation we are challenged to change ourselves". If you believe that church and community are worth preserving for future generations do you believe you can save them with the same mindsets and actions that you've had over the past years? Is there possibly a limiting belief that you must overcome? 3.) What is your favorite church or community moment? Think about what you felt (were you happy, hopeful,...?) I say, that if you do have memories worth leaning into that were provided by being a part of the church and its community, work with us so that we may continue to help our future generations have a place where their spiritual lives can thrive in.
